Solution Personalizing Your YPC: As Easy As 1 – 2 – 3

Passion Parties’ yourpassionconsultant.com (YPC) websites offer freedom and flexibility in the design and content of your site. Several ways to personalize your site are available to you. Keeping your site updated and current adds value to your site and maintains with Passion Parties policy.

Passion Parties has taken care of the tough stuff – updating your online shopping cart, changing information as needed and providing a current, fresh theme for you. Keeping your site up-to-date and current with the rest is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Set the Look -- Choose your theme and upload your images.

Passion Parties provides a fresh, current Premium/Elite level website that mirrors the Corporate website. When upgrading to the Premium/Elite site, the site will default to the US Universal. Canadian Consultants must login to the YPC Back Office and change this theme to the CDN Universa theme.

To choose this theme, login to your YPC Back Office and go to My Website >> Manage Website. On this page, your current theme is displayed on the left in bold (Primary Website) and your choice is displayed in the drop down menu on the right under Choose Your Theme. Use the drop down to select the theme CDN CANADIAN by clicking on it, the page will refresh and you then click the link near the left – Make as Primary Website. This finalizes your theme choice. Click your YPC address to open your site in a new window to view the change.


Images must also be uploaded when you change your theme. They are theme-specific and stay with the theme they were uploaded to. To select your images, use the drop down menu under Select an image to edit.

Images 01 – 04 will be placed on the My Success page. Image 5 or Hostess Special will be placed on the Special Offers page.

From the drop down menu, select the Image Number of the position of the image you are uploading to, locate the image on your computer using the BROWSE button and then UPLOAD the image. Website Image Uploaded Successfully will be displayed once the image has uploaded. Follow this procedure for each image.

The images for the My Success and Special Offers page may be images provided by Passion Parties or your own images. A library of images that are YPC ready are found under the Consultant Tools >> YPC Pictures area. The ideal image size is 200 x 200 pixels and less than 60 kilobytes. File formats accepted are .gif, .jpg, .jpeg and .png. These extension names must be in lowercase letters. To upload any images, they must be stored on your computer hard drive. Instructions for saving the YPC Image Library images are provided at the top of the Image Library page. There are many software programs and online resources if you need to edit your own images or photos for use on the YPC site. Do not use images that are copyright protected.

2. Upload the Consultant Application

The CDN CANADIAN theme features an expanded Become a Consultant section. Under this section, the Get Started Today page contains a link to a Consultant Application. Each Consultant must upload a current application to the My Files and Documents section of their YPC Back Office. If the application is not uploaded, a 404-File Not Found error will be displayed when the site visitor clicks on the link.

To upload the Consultant Application, you must have the current application, as found in the PassionNet Company Documents, saved on your computer. If there are special sponsoring promotions occurring, you have the option which application to use. When saving the application from the PassionNet, save the file as: application.pdf (It must be named exactly as this and in lower case letters.)

Once you have saved the application, go to My Website >> My Files and Documents and upload the application. Again, Consultant Application must be named – application.pdf If it not named exact, the linking will not work. (Those with Adobe Professional Software or other PDF editing software can personalize the application with your name and Consultant ID number.)

Use the BROWSE button to locate the application.pdf file on your computer. Select this file for uploading and then click the UPLOAD Files button. After the file has uploaded, it will display the “File upload successful” message and the file will be listed below in the files area. Note: It must be listed as application.pdf in order for the website linking to work.

Unlike images, your text portion of the YPC site does not need to be redone when you change the theme. However, it is a good idea to keep the My Success and Special Offers current and updated. The My Success page is what truly sets you apart from other Consultants and allows you to make your impression on visitors to your YPC site. The My Success page and Special Offers block allow basic HTML to be used. This is completely optional and the page is designed to be used without HTML knowledge. Two resources in the YPC Section of the Company Documents for those who wish to add HTML to their YPC site are available. Please note that Passion Parties does not offer HTML training.

3. Post Your “My Success” and “Special Offers” text

The bottom image (Image 05) and the bottom text box are to be personalized by the consultant. This page – Special Offers – is featured on the CDN CANADIAN theme. One of the quicker and easier ways to create your My Success page is to first choose your images. These can be images from the YPC Pictures Image Library or from your own selections. Once you have your images, simply write a paragraph about each image and you will have created a cohesive My Success page. We
suggest writing the text in your word processing program and then copy and pasting the text into the appropriate boxes. The My Success page can focus on more than success. It can feature Passion Parties products, the gift of the opportunity, your personal “wanna” and your journey and successes with Passion Parties. This page allows you to express yourself!

To upload your text to the My Success page, go to My Account >> My Profile from your YPC Control Panel. Under this section, you can access the My Success and Special Offers personalization areas. The first time you enter these areas, the boxes will be blank. In the future, your previous text will be displayed so you can make changes and updates without redoing the entire selection. The top box is Contact Name to Be Displayed. This is the name that you would like displayed on the Contact Me page. It does not have to be your actual name but can be your business name such as “Passions in Seattle” or “Passion Parties by Marian”. The following text boxes are for your My Success page text. Enter the text or copy and paste
it there. This the page will timeout after 20 minutes if you do not save your work. Each text box aligns with one of the Images previously uploaded and allows for a section heading.

Once you have completed entering the text, be sure to click the SAVE button in the lower right hand corner. The text is immediately displayed on your YPC site. The Special Offers text box is entered the same way under the Special Offers link.
