Solution Order Management in the YPC -- CDN UNIVERSAL THEME

All orders placed on your YPC site must be completely processed and shipped by the Consultant. These orders are not seen or handled by the corporate office. When an order is placed on the YPC site, the Consultant must process the order the same as they would a PARTY order. The order must be shipped from the Consultant to the Customer. (Canada does NOT offer drop shipping to a Canadian Customer. If the order is for a US Customer, this can be drop shipped directly to a US address.) The Consultant must also process the credit card payment using either their own Merchant Account or using the Pre-Authorization system provided by Passion Parties.

Inside the Shopping Cart area, there are two very useful tools for keeping track of your online orders. These are the STATUS and TRACKING columns.

Once you login to your YPC site and then into your Shopping Cart, go to Orders >> List Current Orders. There, you will find several columns of information. One column is labeled STATUS. By default, this column will say “Received but not Processed.” All orders in the YPC shopping cart must be processed by you. Even with drop shipping, Passion Parties does not process or ship these orders automatically.

If you click on the STATUS button, a script window will open up. (You may need to allow pop-ups for this feature to open.) With the script prompt box open, you simply type in the updated status of this order. For example, if you order the items to be dropped shipped, you can enter in the date and order number.

This is also a useful column to make notes such as “declined credit card” or notes if you shipped it directly to the customer.

The TRACKING button works the same way. This is most handy for entering any UPS/FedEx/USPS tracking information.

Neither of these columns is visible to the customer or to Consultant Services. This is for your own personal use.

By utilizing these two features on your YPC site, you can maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all of your YPC orders.
